Apply to Women’s

The Women’s College invites applications from female students wishing to become a resident or an affiliate. Students who are accepted into the College must be enrolled in a tertiary degree at university, and may be in any year of their undergraduate or postgraduate degree. Students who wish to expand their academic, leadership and social opportunities at Women’s may be studying at one of the following universities:

• The University of Sydney
• Australian Catholic University (Sydney)
• Macquarie University
• University of New South Wales
• The University of Notre Dame Australia, Sydney Campus
• University of Technology Sydney.

Applications are offered on merit throughout the year and Affiliates may join the College community at any time. Interested students are advised to submit their applications promptly.

Applications for 2025 full year Residency and 2024 Semester 2 are open.

Early Offers for 2025 entry will be released at the end of July 2024. Early Offer applications close 11 July 2024!

How to Apply

Step 1 – Online Application

Complete the online application form  including $110 application fee.

Step 2 – Supporting Documentation

You will need the following supporting documents ready when you start your application:

The referee report form will be sent directly to your referee as part of your online application.

Step 3 – Attend an interview

If you are shortlisted for an interview, the Registrar will contact you. Interviews will be conducted in person or via Zoom or Skype for applicants who reside outside of Sydney.

Step 4 – Application Outcome

Offers will be sent to applicants in one of the following rounds:

• Early Offer (July)
• Main Round (September)
• Late Round (January, if places are still available)
