The Sibyl Centre has opened its doors!
The building project for the Langley Precinct Development includes a beautiful new building on Western Avenue called The Sibyl Centre housing a new library, auditorium, tutorial rooms and social spaces, as well as soundproofed music practise rooms, an underground car park and disability access to the College. Langley itself received a much-needed makeover, and two new secure courtyards for study and social activity. This is the first major building project College has undertaken in 45 years, and our aim is to ensure Women’s remains the premier College for young women now and into the future.
In 2016, the former principal and honorary fellow of The Women’s College, Dame Quentin Bryce AD CVO launched the Together Campaign. The target of the campaign is to raise $5 million over five years, as of November 2018 the campaign has raised a total of $2,619,996. The campaign seeks to create lasting relationships between donors and the College with a pledge program and dedicated recognition program.
How can you support?
We already have students, parents, alumnae, council members and friends of the College who have donated to the Building Fund, but to realise the fundraising targets for the building we are in need of more support. Please consider if you are able to support this project by pledging an amount over time or making a general donation. To make a pledge go to the donation page, select the Together Campaign- Langley Precinct Development and put in a recurring amount that works for you.
