Transport and parking
The Women’s College is situated less than four kilometres from Sydney’s city centre in the grounds of the University of Sydney. The University campus is bordered by two major arterial roads, Parramatta Road (Great Western Highway) and City Road.

The College lies on the City Road side of the campus, off Carillon Avenue, Newtown (between City and Missenden Roads).

By air
Sydney’s domestic and international terminals are 20-30 minutes drive from the College depending on traffic. Regular coaches and trains connect the airport to the city.

By rail
The nearest railway station to the College is Redfern Station – approximately 20 minutes walk from College. Central Railway Station, servicing both suburban and country trains, is a short bus or taxi ride away.

By taxi

By bus from the city
Take buses M30, 370, 423, 426 & 428 along Castlereagh Street or in front of Central Station (  Prepaid Opal Card  required.

Parking is available at the University of Sydney Western Avenue car park from 3pm on weekdays and all day during the weekend – pay and display (3 minutes walk from the College).  Check the Western Avenue section at University casual parking on Camperdown/Darlington Campus. During the University of Sydney holidays in summer, limited parking is available at The Women’s College (fees apply).
