Olivia Murphy BA (Hons I) MPhil DPhil

Olivia Murphy is an alumna of the Women’s College. During her time at College she received a Bachelor of Arts with First-Class Honours and the University Medal in English. She also holds a Masters of Philosophy from the University of Sydney. A recipient of the James Fairfax-Oxford Australia Fund scholarship, she received her Doctor of Philosophy in English from Oxford University in 2011. She has held teaching and research positions at Oxford, Murdoch University and the University of Sydney, where she recently completed a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship. The Vice Principal has oversight of a combination of academic, operational and business-related activities; in particular, the Teaching Fellow, Academic Tutorial and Academic Assistant Programs.
