Each year the Women’s College provides financial support for students to extend their networks abroad by representing the College and the University at international meetings and conferences, or by undertaking special programs overseas. College actively encourages students to take advantage of opportunities for broadening their educational and professional experiences, and extending their contacts and their horizons in this way.
Women’s College is a member of Women’s Education Worldwide, a global network of women’s colleges founded by the seven sister colleges in the USA to foster best practice and leadership in women’s tertiary education.

Women’s College is constantly working to expands its professional internship program. Currently the College offers an annual internship with a global asset management company based at the firm’s head office on Park Avenue in New York over the Australian summer. In 2015 a student undertook an internship in London at a major UK television station. We are grateful to the work of our alumnae living abroad who provide these opportunities for current Women’s College students. An international internship provides valuable professional experience which can be very formative for young women’s careers.
