Payroll Giving

One way to give back regularly is through payroll giving, even better when your employer has a gift-matching scheme.

Good 2 Give

Good2Give is a not-for-profit organisation which enables employees to make pre-tax donations to College through their payroll system. Some organisations offer gift matching – this means the organisation will match the value of an employee’s pre-tax donation. For example, a contribution of $25 per fortnight pre-tax from your gross salary results is a $50 per fortnight ($1,300 pa) donation to The Women’s College. This method of donating reduces your taxable income and avoids credit cards and tax deductible receipts, so it is simpler at tax time and for personal budgeting.  It is becoming a preferred method of donating to College by our younger alumnae, who want to give back to College but don’t yet have the ability to make a sizeable single contribution.

Sign up to the coffee a week campaign with other young alumnae and friends of the college who donate the cost of one coffee per week back to the college through their employers’ payroll giving schemes. Ask your employer what they can offer to boost your donation and make it easier for you at tax-time.
