The Council

The Council

The Council is the governing body of the Women’s College. It consists of ten elected councillors, a Treasurer, and four ex-officio councillors. These ex-officio councillors are: the Principal of the College, the Senior Student of the College, the President of the Women’s College Alumnae, and the person nominated by the Senate of the University.

The Council has five committees: Building and Development, Finance, Foundation, Nomination, and Scholarships.

Professor Elizabeth Elliott MBBS MD FRACP FRCP FRCPCH, Discipline of Paediatrics and Child Health, University of Sydney; Consultant Paediatrician Children’s Hospital at Westmead. Member of College 1975-78 (Senior Student 1977).
Mr Stephen Harrison AO MEc FCA FAICD, Chief Executive Officer of the Global Accounting Alliance. Treasurer of the College.
