The Women’s College acknowledges the Gadigal People of the Eora Nation as the traditional custodians of the land on which we live and work.

Built on philanthropy

Support Us

Philanthropy is deeply embedded in the College’s history, with like-minded people championing the cause of education for women by raising £6000 before the College was established in 1892.

The College receives no recurrent funding from government or the university, so the provision of leading facilities and meaningful financial support for students relies on benefaction.

Your donation will contribute to the College being able to continue to provide a place for future generations of women to pursue their studies whilst living on campus; a place of learning, leadership, friendships, and a community that is rich and diverse in disciplines and backgrounds.

The future of The Women’s College as a centre of female leadership that drives positive change in society can be realised with your support.

Tax-deductible donations can be made to the College’s Scholarship Fund, Building Fund, by leaving a bequest, or by giving a general donation to be used at the discretion of the Principal.

If you would like to discuss a potential donation in person or by phone, please email the Alumnae & Philanthropy Coordinator Hannah Heading, or phone +61 2 9517 5032.
