The Women's College was established in 1896 as the first University College for women in Australia, and advocates a high standard of academic excellence for the 285 young women who live here while they are studying.
Situated within the grounds of the University of Sydney, the College offers conference guests (both women and men) heritage surroundings, with a range of seminar and function rooms, excellent low-cost accommodation and full dining facilities.
The College is located less than 4 kilometres from Sydney's CBD, and adjacent to the colourful café-lined suburbs of Glebe and Newtown.
The College welcomes conferences, meetings, retreats and social functions.
Conferences, seminars and dinners are held all year round with accommodation also available during university semester breaks.
Whether you are planning a conference for up to 250 people, a staff planning day or a musical performance and candlelight dinner, The Women's College can provide the facilities, catering, ambience and personal service to stage a memorable event.
