Charity
College holds a charity dinner every year during first semester, organised by the charity convenors, and usually with a special speaker. In 2006 Tabitha Foundation Chair Janne Ritskes spoke to students about her work in Cambodia with some of its poorest communities.
Over summer ten Women’s College students will travel to Cambodia to work alongside some of these communities constructing houses for local homeless families. The project aims to help Cambodians work towards self-sustainability.
The College also supports Zonta International by preparing birthing kits for poor women in rural communities in Africa and Asia each year.
