Women's College Alumnae Awards 2009

College is pleased to invite nominations for the second bi-annual Alumnae Awards to be announced at the Louisa Macdonald Oration Dinner on 29 May 2009. The two categories of Award are:

  • Women's College Alumna Award
  • Women's College Young Alumna Award (under 35 years)

These awards were introduced in 2007 and inaugural winners were Sally Auld and Her Excellency Professor Marie Bashir AC CVO. The awards recognise the achievements and service of alumnae in their professions, community, arts, sport or family life, reflecting women's leadership, vision, creativity, innovation and initiative. The recipient may be a quiet achiever or a prominent professional.

Alumnae are invited to nominate an Alumna of College who has contributed significantly to the community - locally, nationally or internationally. We are particularly interested in hearing from our younger Alumnae.

To nominate an alumna in either category, please download information and the nomination form here. For further information contact the Community Development Office community@thewomenscollege.com.au or Tel 02-9517-5008.

Nominations will close on 6 April 2009.
